Children are a blessing to our church family — they are a gift from God!

Our goal is for kids to have fun in a safe environment where they can grow in knowledge and understanding about Jesus in an age-appropriate way.

When you arrive on Sunday morning, a CityLights Kids Ambassador will help you sign-in and answer questions. Your kids can join you for the beginning of the gathering and they will be dismissed after a few songs. The CityLights Kids Team will meet them at the back of the gathering space and lead them to the designated kids area.

Parents & caregivers can use this space to feed, change, cuddle and play with their infants. The nursery is accessible from the foyer, with a window and speaker so you can follow along with the gathering.

CityLights Tots (6 months to 2 years)

The Green Room on the Lower Level is set up for CityLights Tots.  Your little one will have the opportunity to play, sing songs, hear a short story and have a snack.  Parents are welcome to enjoy the gathering or stay with their child.

CityLights Kids (2 to 10 years)

The Blue Room on the Lower Level is where we begin our time together with CityLights Kids before we shift to lessons for Preschool and Elementary ages. Each week there are lessons and activities that are all about Jesus!  The kids will learn that God loves them, God made them, and that Jesus wants to be their best friend forever.

Our content comes from the First Look Curriculum which ties in songs, crafts and activities to the main theme of the story each week.  There is also a monthly Bible verse which is reviewed each week using different activities.

We love our kids and desire for them to love Jesus and His Church.  We pray that our time together increases each child’s faith, building a foundation of who God is and who they are in Christ.

We aim for kids to enjoy themselves in a safe and secure environment while also giving parents the freedom to have their kids engage as they are comfortable.

Our CityLights Kids Team are qualified and trained volunteers. All designated volunteers have had Criminal Records Checks and have gone through the Plan to Protect process.

Kids activities occur in a designated kids area. We also have the policy of team teaching, so at least two volunteers always lead the activities.

If you have any questions or concerns about a volunteer or the CityLights Kids program, do not hesitate to contact us.
